Good morning, FABULOUS chicas! Quick update - I am down 6.6 pounds from the day I began this new eating plan back on March 21. Sure, it's taken me over a month to get to this point but about a third of it has come off in just the past couple of days. Is this a sign that the tide is beginning to turn? Not sure. But, I'm encouraged and will keep on keeping on! How's it going for you?
And now, my friends, I only have 49 pounds to go to hit my goal. Somehow it seems so much less than 60! Yeah!!!!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo, Jill! You are doing well. My short-term goal was to follow the diet until Easter. I allowed myself some sugar (I couldn't resist the Starburst Jelly Beans) and two slices of homemade bread, a little wild rice and some sparking grape juice. No diary, though!! Man, I wish I had stuck to it. I gained back some weight and am just now beginning to feel good again. I realize now that either the sugar or the gluten is a trigger food for my physical symptoms. I am back to doing the protein and 100% juice only to see how long it will take me to lose the weight I gained.

I hear ya, Meredith! It doesn't take much to undo all of our hard work. But, way to go for getting back to it. And, so good that you're learning what triggers your symptoms.
